This I'd Like to See

This dude's got the right idea. Personal wikis (yeah I bag on public wikis but they do work in the case of the individual author) that are network aware and able to propagate updates to public sites. Actually, I'd like to see a new class of application that can reside on a keychain flash-drive but interact with network resources. The indi project sort of attempts this, but the application is trying to cover too many bases at once and is hampered by its Flash interface, though I do wish them well. If they get some good cash flow, or at least media coverage among the web-cognoscenti, other developers might jump on the bandwagon. Once the big web companies realize that they can use applications of this type as a vector for offline advertising we'll see some real progress being made.
