The Sounds of Silence
I finally cracked... having three servers in my work area was just too disruptive to continue. The added noise and heat undermined any value that immediate physical access to the systems afforded. And so, the servers have moved down the hall, next to the cubicle of a coworker who's away on vacation. Hehe.
Now my cubicle is finally quiet. Soooooooooooo nice. Remote desktop and the MS Virtual Desktop Manager powertoy let me simulate a KVM switch without all the attendant wiring (working on four systems at once, can you say 'ADD' boys and girls?).
